The Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA), Ikorodu Division, Comrade Japhet Odesanya, has stated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, with his reform agenda is laying a solid foundation for generations yet unborn.
Comrade Odesanya emphasised that President Tinubu who is concluding his first term in office represents the future, calling for support for his re – election.
The Ikorodu RHA Coordinator made the remarks when Hon. Abdulkareem Olugbenga Shittu, a House of Representatives aspirant, paid a courtesy visit to the RHA secretariat in Ikorodu. He was welcomed by Comrade Odesanya and his team, which include Hon. Akintoye and Hon. Olusola Bada, Mrs Omolere Olayinka, one of RHA’s women coordinators, among others.
“I welcome you to the Renewed Hope Secretariat and thank you for identifying with us. Renewed Hope is about all of us, particularly it is about our symbol – Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and whoever identifies with us is identifying with Tinubu.
“It’s not about Japhet Odesanya, because I am just to coordinate the Renewed Hope Ambassadors in Ikorodu which is a privileged position. I welcome and I know that this will be the beginning of a cordial partnership – politically, socially and otherwise.
“We acknowledge your visit which is an addition to the support that we have been garnering in the grassroots and we are not stopping in ensuring that we mobilise the grassroots adequately for Tinubu’s return to continue his reform agenda and for the real impacts on the people,” he said.
Comrade Odesanya further described President Tinubu’s agenda as laying the foundation for the future of the country and deserving of massive support.
“In propagating the Asiwaju Agenda, I have been moving round to work on the existing goodwill of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
“We thank you for coming and for identifying with Asiwaju Bola Tinubu; thanks for believing in the cause and thanks for working for the coming generations because Asiwaju represents the future. That’s what I tell people all the time and for the fact that he has told us that it’s not about the immediate applause, rather, it’s about laying a solid foundation for the future. That’s what Tinubu represents,” Comrade Odesanya further elaborated.
The RHA Ikorodu coordinator emphasised on the plan to rebrand the Secretariat completely and sought Hon. Shittu’s and others support.
Hon. Shittu, speaking earlier said that his visit to the RHA secretariat is to identify with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu.
“We are here to pledge our loyalty and support for the Asiwaju mandate. We will support the Renewed Hope Agenda morally, psychologically and financially.
“We are for the development and progress of our party and that’s why we are here today to pay a courtesy call to see how things are developing with the Renewed Hope Agenda in Ikorodu,” the aspirant said.
He pledged financial support for the ongoing rehabilitation of the RHA’s headquarters in Ikorodu.
